As a dedicated Derby CT volunteer fire company, we are committed to protecting life, property, and community through rapid response, extensive training, and a strong tradition of service, much like the Derby Fire Department. Our volunteer firefighters are proud to serve alongside the other derby fire companies and are an integral part of the Derby Fire Dept, ensuring safety and preparedness in our community.
Our Company
Storm Engine Company 2 is one of the four volunteer fire companies that make up the Derby Fire Department in Derby, CT. Our dedicated volunteer firefighters operate with professionalism, pride, and an unwavering sense of duty. Since our founding in the mid-1800s, we have responded to countless emergencies as first responders, remaining committed to serving our neighbors with honor, integrity, and courage.
Today, our members continue the legacy established by the generations who served before us. We uphold a strong tradition of readiness, teamwork, and community involvement, embodying the spirit of the Derby CT Volunteer Fire Company.

Community Commitment
Storm Engine Company 2, part of the Derby CT Volunteer Fire Company, is dedicated to protecting and supporting residents through emergency response, public education, community outreach, and ongoing safety programs, all while our volunteer firefighters serve alongside the Derby Fire Department as committed First Responders.
Storm Engine Co Boot Drive
Storm Engine Company will be holding their biannual boot drive on May 9th at the intersection of Main St and Olivia St. Please come out and donate to help your volunteers firefighters.
